If you have not tried making your own homemade seasonings, like taco seasoning or blackening seasoning, you are missing out!

It sounds complicated and you are probably thinking, “Who has time for that?”

Rest assured, you do momma. Don’t freak out. It takes less than 5 minutes and it makes a huge batch that will last for months. Make it ahead of time and keep it on hand so you can grab it at any time.

Homemade seasoning mixes are PACKED full of flavor and don’t have any added preservatives so they are much healthier than what you buy at the store.

If you don’t believe me, try it for yourself!

Remember, here at Living Practically, I like to do things simple because I know we are all busy.

HOW TO USE HOMEMADE BURGER SEASONING

Hence the title, this seasoning was created to go with burgers. You can use any ground beef, ground turkey, or ground chicken to make your own patties. Use 1 Tbsp of the seasoning mixture PER POUND of meat. Mix it all up with your hands and form into patties.

If you are using pre-made patties, no worries, just sprinkle some of this seasoning on top before you grill.

We have also discovered we really like the seasoning mixture on french fries, sweet potato fries, and the other roasted vegetables. No need to measure, just drizzle with some oil and sprinkle the burger seasoning on top. Bake and enjoy!
