WHAT IS THE 2B MINDSET PROGRAM AND IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?

The 2B Mindset program helps men and women find patterns in their eating, help them focus on their mindset, and teaches them what to eat at each meal so they can finally the loose weight without counting calories, carbs, points, or macros.

Beachbody is not only a workout platform, it has two nutrition programs to help their customers lose weight and get healthy. To get the best results, it takes nutrition and exercise together. The two nutrition programs, 21 Day Fix and 2B Mindset are very different.

The creator of the 2B Mindset program is Ilana Muhlstein, a registered dietician. After struggling with being overweight her whole life, she finally lost her weight now and helps others do the same.

WHAT IS THE 2B MINDSET PROGRAM?

2B Mindset is a weight loss and healthy lifestyle program that focuses not only on WHAT we are eating, but WHEN we are eating and WHY we are eating. After doing some tracking, we discover certain patterns that are affecting our weight loss.

Ilana also has a plating system that helps teach us what our breakfast, lunch, snacks, and supper plates should look like for each meal. This is a great tool to use whether eating at home, at a party, or at a restaurant.

FOUR BASIC PARTS

Ilana breaks her nutrition program down into four simple parts to focus on each day, along with following her plate guidelines for each meal.

WATER MOST

Ilana encourages drinking half of your body weight in ounces, and let me tell you it is NOT easy. It takes serious motivation and intentionality throughout the day to reach that goal.

I have a gallon water bottle like this that has been so helpful for me to reach my water goal. There are so many benefits of drinking water, but the one we are focusing on with the 2B Mindset is to help us feel full, and therefore eat less.

EAT MORE VEGETABLES

On this 2B Mindset program, you eat should be eating TONS of veggies throughout the day. In fact, any time you are hungry, she recommends grabbing a vegetable first. If you are still hungry, grab some protein. Then a fiber filled carb.

Asian lettuce wraps and any salad, especially this Harvest Cobb salad are great options!

WEIGH EVERYDAY

She encourages weighing every day and using it as a tool to see progress and how your body responds to certain things. The goal is learn what your body needs to be its best.

How does your body respond to that chocolate cake? What about French fries? Pay attention to the cause and effect relationships between your choices and your body.

TRACK DAILY

If you start the 2B Mindset program, you will get a tracker to jot down daily how you feel, when you are eating, what you are eating, your bowel movements, and emotions. There is not a right or wrong way to do it. The more details that you put in your tracker, the easier it will be to see more patterns. Remember, we are looking for patterns and learning what our bodies need in order to feel our best. 

TRANSFORMATIONS

I found these 2B Mindset transformations very inspiring and motivating, so I thought I would share. These are women that followed the nutrition program and did some exercising, but the 2B Mindset ALONE would give you some amazing results.
