PEANUT SAUCE FOR LETTUCE WRAPS- gluten free, dairy free, AIP friendly

This Peanut Sauce for lettuce wraps recipe comes from Katie Moore Wellness, a fitness coach that focuses on clean, simple nutrition. If you are not following her, you are missing out!

Everybody has their staple items in their kitchen that they never want to run out. This homemade peanut sauce is one of mine. I try to ALWAYS have a fresh batch in the fridge.

If you are a fan of meal prepping but hate boring meals, I suggest upping your sauce game.

This peanut sauce takes any Asian dish (well any dish really) to the next level.

INGREDIENTS IN PEANUT SAUCE

PEANUT BUTTER– Natural peanut butter is the healthiest option, but could do any. Check out your ingredients on your peanut butter jar. If you are wanting healthy, look for peanuts, salt, and maybe some oil on the ingredient list.

SOY SAUCE– You can definitely substitute with coconut aminos or tamari

MAPLE SYRUP– This is one of my favorite liquid sweeteners and HIGHLY recommend keeping this in your fridge.

RICE WINE VINEGAR- Great on any Asian dishes, especially stir fry dishes.

GINGER– Freshly grated is the best flavor, but can use ground also. I like to keep my ginger in the freezer so I always have some on hand.
