BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS RECIPE

This Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars recipe is a perfect, easy dessert to throw together when you just need something sweet.

I can’t be the only one that has spent half of my life looking for my “go to” recipes for easy desserts. After trying multiple different chocolate chip cooke bar recipes, I finally found the perfect one.

Here at Living Practically, I do things simply.

I love cooking, baking, being a mom, but there’s only so much of me and so much time in a day. After failing miserably in multiple areas of my life, I discovered that that had to be a better way. I decided to simplify my life.

My tip to stay sane, eliminate as much extra stuff that I can, including difficult recipes. If you find a recipe here on my website, you can be sure it’s going to be simple, practical, and delicious.

REASONS I LOVE THIS CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS RECIPE

They are simple to make, unlike rolling the dough into individual cookie dough scoops. Mix the dough together and spread into a 9×13 pan and bake.

Theses chocolate chip cookie bars are made with ingredients you already have in your cabinet.

If you take these bars out of the oven at just the right time, they are pure perfection. They are soft, a little gooey, and melt in your mouth.

They freeze really well. Since I don’t have great self control but love to bake, I hide our sweets in the freezer so I am not tempted to eat all of them.

TIPS FOR MAKING CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS

I have made these chocolate chip cookie bars over a dozen time the last year or so. When baking them, YOU MUST TAKE THEM OUT OF THE OVEN ON THE EARLY SIDE, otherwise they will continue to bake after you pull them out of the oven and will get a little crispy.

It is hard to know for sure that perfect sweet spot. But think early.
