My husband and I learned that we were pregnant with our first child when I was at my absolute highest on the scale. Knowing my scale was only going to continue to climb over the next few months, I cried at my first doctors appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the next 9 months, I decided to focus on being as healthy as I could  and make this pregnancy as healthy as possible.<\/strong> I would cross the weight loss bridge after the baby was here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I was starting the pregnancy as overweight, my doctor encouraged me to try to gain between 15-25 pounds over the next 9 months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*I ended up gaining 30 pounds for my first pregnancy and 35 pounds during my second pregnancy. It was more than I wanted to gain, but I tried my best. I think I found a good balance between being healthy but still enjoying life.<\/strong> That is my goal for you too! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try to find a balance between eating HEALTHY the majority of the time, but still ENJOYING those cravings and splurges too.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
